This May Lizzy graduates from Longwood University where she majored in psychology and minored in criminology and criminal justice. Lizzy grew up with one older sister. Outside of her studies, Lizzy has a passion for music and singing.
Is there something that you want to tell your mother that you don’t say enough?
I do not tell my mom that I love her enough. She has a strength that I will never understand but I like to tell myself that I have picked up a few of her tricks.
How does your mother comfort you when you are having a bad day?
She comforts me when she laughs and tells me that she is proud of me, even when I do not deserve it. Her hugs are the pinnacle of comfort.
What is the most graceful thing about your mother?
Her most graceful feature is her ability to remain calm under stressful situations. When I am upset, scared or angry she has the ability to bring me back to reality every time. I love you mom!
